Wow! This topic seems so interesting. As I have always mentioned, Halloween is one of the events that I am really looking forward to. Not only me, but my kids as well. Normally, what we do during this celebration, we go to malls and join their Trick or Treats game. It is a very interesting activity for kids. I have a son and a daughter and you simply game me an idea of what to do for their costumes. I want my son to dress up like a cowboy and my daughter as a Sassy Victorian Pirate. The way I look at art isn't for the commercial success but really for yourself as an act of expression. This is the way art should be done and when approaching life, you should always have a marketable skill you can utilize to pay the bills but I don't think one should try to capitalize on their talents as an artist. Start as a hobby and then if it becomes popular then great. If it doesn't then who cares because your original intention wasn't to get rich but to express yourself in a unique way. In this way you can live comfortably and still be an artist.Link: Making Your Art Stand Out (artistic inspiration); Your

Temples are usually quiet where you could relax and meditate but in Thailand there one that is very far from that image. The tiger temple in the country features nothing other than those wild cats. Visitors of this temple can interact with the tiger which the monks are taking care of. You can pet the tiger like any ordinary home pet maybe because they don't human a threat to them when they are the ones who takes care of them.Link: Rupert Ditsworth - The Tiger Temple (humor blog); Fun B

There are a lot of film enthusiasts who have gained courage to promote independent films or typically called as indie films. Let's face the fact that indie films don't have a lot of budgets for promotions and don't have famous artists but still they are highly recognized in the society because of the quality of their work and scene. I am also fond of watching movies and I have watched several indie films which are really impressive. They are even convinced to get directors and actors who excel in the making independent films. I work in web as an internet entrepreneur and reading a story like this saddens me a little (that and I'm listening to a little piano in the background at the same time!) Friendster must have worked around the clock like we all did to launch and continuously update their site but lost out to the monster that Facebook became. The public is finicky and you could probably write a sociology thesis on why one beat out the other when Friendster was well out of the gate first. Link: What happened to Friendster?
