Business, Entertainment, & Lifestyle Magazine in Kenya, distributed all over East Africa. Official In-Flight Magazine for Airkenya Express. The Magazine features: Fashion, Business, Romance, Homes & Gardens, Travel, and has a monthly shopping supplement. High Business figures and Role models appear in the magazine and push kenyans to strive in their industries and life: Its All About Having Fun!!!
What inspired you to launch your own website?
My company owns many publications and i decided to do some online advertising.

same as the magazine Having fun Magazine: i enjoy having fun.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
There are none others, People expect Kenya to be poor and undeveloped, But they are completely brain washed. Ive traveled all over the world and Kenya is the best. The people are very rich compared to Americans and Europeans & they cant live without the Weekly outings and socializing. Kenyans really know how to party and the country is full of entertainment. Kenya has beautiful Nightclubs, Wildlife, Marine parks, Historic feautures and many nationalities from Indians, to the beautiful Italians living in Malindi.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Keep Kenyans alive and strive for more luxuries. Also change the way international people look at the Kenyans, we are not poor, if we could afford to buy a Porche Cayenne for a million dollars and still have a 3 more cars sitting in the garage.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I'm still young but there's still a lot more to gain, Having Fun Magazine is the 1st of its kind and surely not the end of my Success, we're one day going to build Palace's and Castles in the country and people wont be able to meet our standards of success
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would put in HFM's Cupid dating similar to Hi5. i would also like to hook up local radio my favorite 105.5fm
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Ive just started & there's still a lot to learn as i have no website skills and the demand is going to pickup very soon
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
none
What has been your biggest challenge?
Laying out a website when ive never ever created one before
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Advertising through E-news and the magazine
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
its very tough but you dont want to give it up once you've started
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
Dec 07, till im confidant someone knows what having fun magazine is really about and has the same online vision as me
